On your chromebook bring up your draft of your personal narrative. On your own paper write out the first sentence, then highlight the subject and verb. Next make sure that you have punctuated the sentence correctly (commas and periods in the right places). Repeat this process with the first 7 sentences of your paper. If you haven't finished your personal narrative, do that first.

Make sure you have today's worksheet. Read the five multiple choice questions, then click on the link and read the article. Write a summary of the article that is at least 6 sentences but no more than 10 sentences. On the same sheet of paper, answer the five multiple choice questions.
Link Make sure you have the Reading Practice sheet. Next, go to the links below and read the articles published there. As you read, summarize every three paragraphs. When you have finished reading and summarizing, write down five things you learned from each article.

Read all the questions before you read the passage (you can move from question to question just by clicking on the numbers). If the question is asking about a specific detail from the text, don't answer until you have gone back to where that information is in the text. Do not guess on specific detail questions. Take the time to find the answer.

It will take you to a google slides presentation that has an adverb and compound sentence review. When you get to the terms, write out the definitions on a sheet of paper. Do what the slides ask you do on that same sheet of paper. When you are finished, you can bring your work to me and I will check it for correctness. You will have a summative quiz tomorrow. When you finish the review activity, you need to continue working on your packet from last week if it is not already complete.
